An elongated object in hand blown Portuguese glass, made using the Sommerso technique. A core of richly coloured glass is submerged within clear optical glass while still molten, creating a suspended depth of colour and light. The rim is cold cut and polished by hand after blowing. Used as an ashtray, a vide poche, a centrepiece, or a sculptural object. Each piece is unique.
